Let’s go cycling

Waterfalls are a wonderful way to start the day! Nice to have a walk instead of a ride for a change…and what a fabulous waterfall to visit. Easily accessible, it did cost us $200 baht ($9aud) to enter the national park – a huge hike on local prices but well worth it. Very few people, definitely no westerners, and we pretty much had the falls to ourselves.

Day 30…so a late start to our cycling day but it was mostly flat and easy… 93 kms today before we found some cheap but fresh accommodation with a great local restaurant across the way.

An interlude during the afternoon…the dark clouds got darker and we took shelter just before the storm hit with big winds and plenty of rain…lasting around 45 minutes before we were comfortable enough to head back out into it! Didn’t take long for the sky to clear and the heat to kick in again (tropical storms).
