To Bangkok and out Day 40, back on the bikes and we headed toward Bangkok. Somewhere around 80km later… we decided not to make such an extra huge day of it and stopped again at Petchaburi- a charming riverside centre with very minimal western presence. Day 38 & 39… and a whole lot of nothing! A couple of relaxed beachy days with plenty of “swimming”…water temp around 31 deg so not too difficult to stay immersed! Lots of food…can’t get enough of the amazing seafood here! Heading back out for fresh crab shortly 😎 And lunchtime beers…what’s not to like!…

Day 29, 114 km through rural Thailand Left Tak after a “hearty” breakfast. And when I say hearty…this was ( accidentally) the buffet breakfast that Neil’s been hoping for the whole trip so far :). Think 6 eggs, 4 sausages, pikelets, rice, toast, muesli, yoghurt, fruit….and that’s just for Neil 🤪. Plus the four boiled…
